Greeting bloggers, I'm back again to talk about my title blogs that will be present in my intro popping up in different sciences. Commonly used are titles like director, actor, characters, costume designers, etc. Which will all feature my name. I was not sure if I should put the title of the movie” first or third to last before the director title. I particularly found it more fun to look online at a website ‘Envato elements’ https://elements.envato.com/fonts/thriller . The website has a title font that you can imprint on videos, I particularly liked ‘midnight terror’- brush horror font. It had an edgy look and caught my attention with the structure. The brush work looked amazing. Another that I liked was ‘The Viperion’- display typeface, it is likely my top pick but I don't want to hold up on any of the other options. In the end only when the final product is shown will I be able to show which fits best.

Script

Image
I want to have a more shiftable script, because I don't want to be held to a spoken dialogue the whole way through. especially if this possibly causes my intro to look choppy and not flow smoothly. However, I will make an outline/ idea of what will be said, like a guideline to help me if necessary to improvise.  Script “Hey girl, I just got off work…” (inaudible noise from the phone)… ”Yes, I know, i’m about to walk in the house and hopefully take a hot shower” (Friend responds on phone now close up of phone)  “Doesn’t your brother usually take forever, he’s gonna melt in there if he stays that long all the time”     “uhhh (moaning noise) I can’t stand when he does that…he literally gonna turn to slime in there. (laughing from phone and actor) Okay i’m about to walk in i’ll call you in a little bit”  “Finally home”  (opens front door)  music begins - upbeat alternative music ( walks upstairs)  “shit I knew he’d be in there”  (ban...

-Actors; In my short intro to film, it will be myself and my friend Maya  -filming; filming will occur just before break because i'm renovating my house, though it will particularly take place in my kitchen because i switched my idea for my video.  location; the filming location will be in my home, precisely my kitchen. I was originally skeptical of filming in my kitchen because it so out dated compared to others. However, after beginning to film i noticed i can use this to an advantage.  -Editing; editing will consist of me formatting my video into CapCut or an online title sequence like I've written about in previous blogs. Since my thriller will be more exciting I want to be able to flexibly move around my house. There will also be scene that will need to fast pace and enticing so I’ve been in search for good sound and editing around with CapCut filters.  -Directing; The directing will consist of my fellow class mate and friend Kylie McDonald, though i am working ...

Title the blogs: Title research: (Run, papa, run )

Image
What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? The title sequence was created by title designer Henri Wong by combining hand-drawn animation, redrawn live action video, and photo collage. What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? Run, Papa, Run's opening sequence centers on the main character. His eerie and haunting dreamscape is full of allusions to his worst fears. Without giving things away, the dream scene reveals to the viewer something about the protagonist's mental condition and the decisions he made in life, decisions that appeared to be driven by fear. I use the website “watch the title”, http://www.watchthetitles.com/. How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the ou From the title and the presentation, it felt as the character was falling into abyss, while at the same time of viewers would not necessarily know what is going on and why this is happening, it took the advantage of a thriller perspective and lead into a personal depth ...

Title the blogs: Title research: (The Final destination )

Image
What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? It started with the title card  of “final destination” in and started introducing names of the actors portraying further into the sequence of the movie. It is also the casting of the CSA. along with costume, designer and film producers, designers, editors, and music, writers and final slide being the Director What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? In the beginning of the open sequence, it shows a lot of x-rays with graphics of violence that portrayed death. It’s more upbeat and fast paced with the music. This house portrayed more thriller, and violence that most likely occurs later in the film. I use the website “watch the title”, http://www.watchthetitles.com/. How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the ou I could see that it was a thriller, even if it was faster paced it showed much graphic designs in violence, but it also escaped into a point where I wondered what would happen next.

Title the blogs: Title research: (silent Hill, revelation)

What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? Title cars introduce the producers such as the co, executive, assistant. They also introduced the game maker, the editor designer, make it designer, costume designer, and a list of names with a final display of the film title and production, and film association  What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? The intro design is highly characterized. It’s a fundamental part of the whole introduction and it’s the main sequence of it all. There was even a sketch provided by the website to show that they went further in depth and researched this heavily so the animation could be greatly used. I use the website “watch the title”, http://www.watchthetitles.com/. How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the ou From the start of the intro, I could feel an eerie feeling, especially with the creative music that was used in the alternative designs. The animation gave life to the game, and also to the intro to...
