Filming cost
Hello blog, so to greatly recap my filming history. I must include the spending I've succumbed to in this process. Honestly just saying the title of the song out loud is a little ironic seeing as I’ve spent maybe more than a hundred dollars. I could just be acting dramatic but in this blog, I’ll account for the cost of filming.
So the first day of filming was actually the most budget-friendly and my partner got around with her parents' help, it was honestly the best filming day and we were able to go out and eat after. The second day of my filming was my Lyft to Las Olas (now I’ll pause right here, but something to take into account is majority of filming depends on availability and I work and also have other important classes I also partake in, cost and affordability of certain depends in ranges for me in my partner. I do not mean to exaggerate my spending I’m simply explaining how this project has not been cost affordable and I feel like it’s been neglected and should be addressed). So back to Las Olas, now anyone knows how Lyft, uber, public buses…etc, etc works. The cost of the ride depends on the distance. I don’t want to explain the whole exterior of Florida but it’s important to understand where I live and a good majority of filming has not been close. So on the second day of filming, I originally called for an Uber but my partner's mom offered me a ride home. I'm not one to deny a way to save money so I openly took it though I still need to pay a fee for canceling in 20-dollar Uber. The day with the farthest was our fall picnic. I first Uber to Las Olas (20 dollars) then I Ubered us to Publix which was another (10 dollars). Then arriving there I spent (30 dollars) on the items for the picnic. following that i ubered us to the park, then later ubered home (30 dollars). Then I skipped Wednesday because I had work.
The following day my group member told me I needed to plan the beach day, and I should catch up on my filming. I was a little caught off guard at first but I proceeded anyway in getting more clips. So I caught a bus to my Walmart filmed a bit there and walked around the plaza. I spent around ten dollars. Then I went out on Friday for a Halloween bash i’m not accounting that cost in because the clip I filmed likely won’t be added in. Continuing to the beach scene, I sent out an invitation and sent it so early I ordered dunkin’ donuts and used the box as a prop for the scene adding the context of Friday hangout and eating donuts (that was around 20 dollars). Also, something important to know about the location because I want it to be convenient for everyone. I picked a location that was central to everything, it was a (15 dollar) Uber. Then for more filming, I ubered to the mall to get some clips there, that was around (20 dollars) too. Honestly, though I’ve spent so much I hope you guys enjoy the film and I don’t completely regret how much I’ve put into filming. (another disclaimer this is just my spending, not my partner too, and some of this spending was split with other friends. Thank you for coming, see you next time.
